Desnar, trading as TapScan operates ROS. This notice explains how account, restaurant, guest-order and support information is handled.
Version: 25 August 2026We process owner and staff account details, restaurant configuration, subscription and payment references, menu and table data, service logs, and the guest contact or order information a restaurant chooses to collect.
Information is used to provide and secure ROS, authenticate users, process restaurant operations and subscriptions, deliver requested notifications, prevent abuse, diagnose incidents, meet record-keeping duties, and support customers.
For guest information entered into a restaurant workspace, the restaurant normally decides what is collected and why. The restaurant must configure ROS lawfully, give its guests appropriate notices, and respond to guest requests. ROS processes that information to provide the service.
We share information only with service providers needed for hosting, database, payment, email, messaging, security and support functions, or when legally required. Provider locations may differ from the restaurant’s country; appropriate contractual and security safeguards must be maintained.
We retain information only while needed for the service, security, dispute resolution, backups and applicable accounting or legal obligations. We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect it, including access controls, tenant isolation and encrypted connections in deployed environments. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Depending on your location and relationship with ROS, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict or delete personal information, or object to certain processing. Contact the support contact shown on your invoice or service agreement. Guest requests about a restaurant order should normally be sent to that restaurant first.
