These terms govern restaurant use of ROS, supplied by Desnar, trading as TapScan. Your order form, invoice or signed agreement may add commercial terms.
Version: 25 August 2026ROS provides restaurant menu, QR ordering, order operations, kitchen, staff, reporting and related subscription features according to the selected plan. Features and limits shown at purchase form part of the service description.
The restaurant must provide accurate information, protect credentials, assign only necessary permissions, and promptly remove access for people who no longer work with it. Accounts may not be shared outside the restaurant or used to interfere with ROS, other tenants or third parties.
The restaurant remains responsible for menu accuracy, prices, taxes, allergens, food safety, order fulfilment, customer communications, refunds for food orders, staff conduct, and lawful collection of guest information. ROS does not prepare, sell or deliver the restaurant’s food.
Trials, billing periods, currency, price and included features are shown before purchase. Unless an order form says otherwise, renewal is manual. Access may be limited or suspended when a trial expires, payment is overdue, use creates a security risk, or these terms are materially breached.
We operate and maintain ROS with reasonable care, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages and emergency security work may affect access. Material service or pricing changes will be communicated before they apply to a new billing period where reasonably possible.
Each party must protect the other’s confidential information. The restaurant retains responsibility for its content and grants the permissions needed to host and process it solely to provide, secure and support ROS. Privacy handling is described in the Privacy Notice and any applicable data-processing agreement.
The restaurant may stop renewal or request closure through the support contact shown on your invoice or service agreement. Before closure it should export information it needs to retain. We may retain limited records and backups where required for security, disputes, accounting or law.
Any mandatory rights remain unaffected. The liability allocation, governing law, courts and any negotiated service commitments are those stated in the restaurant’s order form, invoice or signed agreement. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
